So, a post about scuba diving quotes is not something l would have initially thought of as content…
That was before 2020 happened!
The events of a global crisis, the emergence of a global pandemic has meant we have all been and continue to be unable to enjoy even the simplest of our favourite activities.
And that includes the majesty of scuba diving.
Prior to the outbreak, l had actually been visiting Puerto Rico, where l had been lucky enough to dive. Read more on that here.
No more diving.
And while l only go diving every few months or so, the complete inability to do ANY quickly got me reminiscing and missing it, tremendously.
Hence, that is what these 15 quotes about scuba diving are for!
So…lets DIVE IN!
(Come on as if you didn’t expect me to say it!)
Now, if you’re a diver, its likely you’ve heard this one.
Its a pretty popular, but clever play on the words of another quote!
And how can it not be?
For me diving is all about exhilaration, and this quote captures that elegantly.
Perhaps less deep than the previous, but equally pertinent right?
This scuba diving quote is no bs.
Because you need no bs below the waves.
So, just go eat, sleep and getting diving.
Now just HOW true is this?!
Seriously, some consider diving weird as an activity and l cannot understand why.
I’m simply getting to know far more of the planet!
Albeit it without oxygen and a tonne of equipment…
But l am still getting out there to explore unusual, unique locations!
So, we, as divers, do live in far bigger planets!
Alright, this might be divisive.
But frankly, if you say that you really do not, or haven’t AT LEAST once done this…
I just don’t believe you. Sorry but l don’t.
Still, quite an accurate quote though right?
Hmm, l am not sure how much l agree with this.
I mean, l have been in plenty of caves, plenty of shipwrecks as a scuba diver.
I think this quote is pretty amusing either way.
And we all love the ocean, which is why its on here.
Isn’t this just SO true?
It is what so many people are missing, and why l love diving.
So many hidden places, secrets, unknowns to be found.
But still a hella wilderness.
I couldn’t put it better myself.
Seriously how accurate is this?
In case you didn’t know, diving is a completely genuine therapy option…
At least from my personal experiences.
To be honest, l cannot find another way to comment on this.
It really does feel like home to me to be under the waves!
And l bet once you had a try at it, if you’re here and not already a diver, you totally LOVE it.
There are many who think diving is so complex and overwhelming…
And sure, if you’re after a technical diver, maybe.
But otherwise, really all you need to do is grab a tank and go diving.
A tank with air in it mind you…
Indeed, the ocean is all of these things.
AND that is why diving is a must!
Seriously, how can it be beaten?
Now l am quite content being a diver.
But to observe them and appreciate them for sure is to get underwater to see them.
Its like going on your own personal safari.
Under the sea and without the bustling, overbearing noises of society on surface.
Freediving? Another quote about freediving?
But freediving or not, l think that this quote is SO applicable to scuba diving too.
Its so quiet under the waves.
So peaceful and tranquil, which is why l and we all should undoubtedly love it.
For divers, or anyone in general, this quote is so relatable.
To get out of your comfort zone.
And what better to do that than by doing an adventurous activity like diving?
If you know anyone who should try diving, get them to do so.
What have they go to lose!
Ahhh, classic pun.
Seriously though, you cannot not keep those anemones closer with those sticky suckers!
I LOVE me some clown fish.
Some Nemos – as anemones are where Merlin and Nemo lived in the films.
So go dive and say hey.
And to end these quotes, is one very powerful but amusing one.
I cannot underline how much l relate to this really.
Like seriously salty, but humble at the same time!
And so thank you Ocean.

Now don’t these get you right in the mood to dive?
They sure do for me.
And considering it’ll likely be so long since you went diving you’ll need some new equipment or products.
And get back to the underwater world.
Have you been diving a lot? Do you wish it was more often you could go?
